Camp Cove 30-12-05

December 30, 2005, a fine day.  Camp Cove was the choice for an early morning dive.  Dive 184 for me, we spent 101 mins in the water and still had 50 bar left.  Alright it is quite shallow (max depth 7.5m).

We dived along the East side, through the swim through and on for about 30 mins before we started to feel the current getting stronger. We then turned around, finning quickly back, with the rocks on our left hand side. On the way out we saw quite a number of small cuttles, a large moray, way out of his hole and a smaller one. There were 4 squid swimming along. Also lots of other fish that we enjoyed watching. We got back close to the beach and explored the old pump house. It is quite colourful, there is a rusty ladder that you can swim under and a narrow channel. I found 2 large crabs under it. We decided to hang around to get up to 100 minutes. It was worth it.
