A club dive on 31/3 and 4 boats head out from Port Hacking. We anchored just off the sand in 24m of water. From the surface the viz looked great and at the bottom it was. This is a really interesting dive, the rock formations are not big but there is a large raised outcrop with gutters and channels. Our first encounter was with 3 juvenile PJs. They were resting in the sand between 2 rocky outcrops. I got a nice pic of Wayne with 2 of them. Next in a rock hollow was a moray, curled around in the inside of the bowl of the rock. There were several more morays on this dive. Lots of fish around as well. There were rock cods, gropers, leatherjackets, yellowtail and bullseye to name a few. It's a fair way down the coast but well worth it if the conditions are good.
