Our second dive for the day (and 2009). After a
lengthy surface interval and we headed across the bay to Voodoo.
At 16 to 20 metres we felt this would give us a good dive time without
deco issues. The viz here was quite good and we headed away from
the anchor generally to the west. Rocks, overhangs and sand
sections make this site quite interesting. There was a reasonable
amount of life around including a red rock cod, groper and a damsel
fish. Hard to navigate as the areas look the same we lost the
anchor but fortunately found it again. It had moved a bit across a
rock ledge, making it harder to see. Towards the end of the dive
we saw a weedie sea dragon. Very nice.
