After such a great dive on the Undola we
wanted a shallow dive. A surfer mate of mine had been talking
about Voodoo near the stink pots south of Cape Bailey. He had
snorkelled there and noticed the bottom drop away very quickly. We
motored across and the bottom finder showed some interesting formations.
We anchored in about 15m and dropped over. The viz was fair with a
lot of particles in the water. The area is certainly interesting
with lots of deep overhangs, gutters and walls falling down onto a soft
sandy bottom at 20m. As we followed the wall south the viz
improved. There was plenty of fish life around. Cuttles,
mowongs, old wives, gropers to name just a few. This is is well
worth a better look and a good second dive after a deep eive
