Six fathom reef is located in Bate Bay, Port Hacking.  It is one of a number of reefs that run across Bate Bay.  It is not the best reef in this area but is one of the shallower ones.  It is an easy dive, with most interest around the sand line of the reef.  It makes a good second dive on a good day.  I found an old anchor here on one dive.  The anchor now hangs in my courtyard.
