Conditions had been really stormy all week and as
we pulled up at the boat ramp at Wally's Wharf we knew it would be
rough.  The wind was strong and the seas up but we felt we could do
one of the reefs.  After a bit of rough seas we felt that 6 fathom
would be best.  Despite the strong winds and seas up, we got the
anchor to hook in easily.  Over we went and down the front anchor.
I switched to the back anchor to make sure it was secure.  Having
secured it I realised I had no idea where the front one (and Wayne) was.
After a few mnutes of searching we found each other and followed the
edge of the reef.  A weedie, stingarees, and juvenile PJ were very
nice.  A small moray eel sheltered in a small hole.
conditions were near perfect at the bottom despite the rough surface
conditions.  Dive over we headed back up to find the seas rougher.
In these conditions one dive for the day was enough.
