Minmi Trench is an amazing dive site just inside Botany Bay at Cape Banks.  It is around 22m on the sand.  It features a trench that runs E-W 5 to 10m from the sand line.  The trench runs to the west from the anchor point and has a number of overhangs which are worth exploring.  It opens out to scattered boulders and large overhang that is frequented by PJs in winter. Weedy sea dragons abound as well. There is little to see on the rock shelves above the trench.
