Well, after last week diving down to 44m and seeing
nothing but sediment in the water at the Undola we hope for better this
week. Maybe the date, 7/7/7 would be a good omen. Well, this
dive needed a god dive light to see much. Viz was 5m at best and
it was surgy and gloomy. We didn't venture too far from the
anchor, afraid to get totally lost in the gloom. After 50mins my
torch was going dim and we started our ascent. We had seen a
juvenile PJ glide past but it didn't stay. A few nudies, a mourning
cuttle that obliged by flashing nicely and a few other fish was all
there was to see. And the water is now winter temperatures at 16oC.
Still, on 36% Nitrox we had a 57 min dive at max depth of just over 24m.
