The water was really cold the surface interval cloudy and drizzly had done nothing to bring our core temperature back up from the first dive.  I got so cold that one of my fingers wnet numb. 

Viz was great and we headed west into the outgoing tide.  Part way along we found 3 spotted eels - quite rare in Sydney waters.  Then on the way back a nice cuttle.  Again, the sea horses that Wayne had seen here were not around.
