Jibbon Bommie 08-11-08
Our third dive and we are looking for a shallow dive.  We knew the bommie is quite shallow.  It is best avoided when motoring in or out of the bay.  We have frequently seen waves rolling over the bommie.  We anchored to the East of the bommie in about 12m of water. This is an interesting area.  There are walls that drop 3-4 metres and large boulders and craters.  Only 20m to the East the bottom drops away to 19m +.  There was a cuttle here, groper and a devilfish.  This area is worth exploring more and it has lots of potential.
