Tupei Point 17-02-07

Today, 17 Feb 2007 the seas were down and from the NE good for putting the boat in at Long Bay. It is quite exposed but when the seas are down it is handy for many sites between Botany Bay and Bondi. We have done Magic Point from here many times. We headed across to the south tip of Long Bay, dropping over the side and heading south along the wall at 22m, then going up and coming back north at a shallower depth. Once past the point you can head west into Long Bay where there is a lovely swim through. Although the viz was good there wasn't as much fish life was we have seen here before. We had planned to dive around 45 mins, keeping enough air for a dip across at the Malabar. Actual dive time was 49 mins and on 33% Nitrox, no deco issues.
