After diving the Kelloe we were looking for another dive for the day. We hadn't been to the wreckage of the Hilda for a while so headed off to Cape Solander. We found Le Scat there, they were just finishing a dive and after a few minutes headed off. We anchored and dropped over the side. On 36% Nitrox we were looking for a good dive despite the Nitrogen loading that we were carrying. At a max depth of around 24m the Hilda isn't too deep. it is very much scattered wreckage and the area here is full of large rock formations, making finding the pieces more difficult. We did find what looked like an engine and I found a heap of pipes with a flat plate at each end. Amongst the fish life was a weedie sea dragon and large bull ray which I followed for a bit. An un eventful dive in all and we ascended earlier than we could have as we both were starting to feel a bit cold.
