The Birchgrove is always lovely and this dive was no exception. The viz was great and there were large numbers of fish on the wreck, including a wobbiegong that was so well hidden we nearly didn't see it at all. Our anchor had secured at the end of the mast so we swam into the wreck from the mast, back towards the prop and then forward past the boiler and towards the bow. It's deep at close to 50m so time runs out quickly. We spend 20 minutes on the bottom, could have spent more but the deco penalty makes this a 62 minute dive.
