Cape Bank Cavern 18-02-06

February 18 2006 we decided to do a couple of sites that we had not visited before.  Cape Banks Cavern was one that we had been interested in for a while.  Heading out of Botany Bay and just past Cape Banks (on the North Head of Botany Bay) is Cape Bank Caverns.  The viz was looking good and we found it so at the bottom as well.  We hit a max depth of 23m on 38% Nitrox.  This is a wonderful site.  It is full of life, just thousands of fish of all types.  Rock formations are fantastic - lots of swim throughs and one that you can enter from 3 sides and is about 4m across.  There are gutters and gullies and rock walls.  A fantastic site that we must visit again.  This was dive 203 for 52 mins.
