Saturday September 26 2009 the weather was a bit all
over the place. We had wanted to dive the Tug so were set up for twins.
We went out to the Tug but the sea was too sloppy, mostly driven by the
strong winds.  We chose to hug in close to the coast where the
cliffs would shelter us from the strong winds.  Marley point itself
was a bit exposed so we motored north along the cliffs.  We found a
rock fall a bit north and anchored there.  Over the side on twins
for a 19m dive.  At the bottom the viz was poor with a lot of
material in the water.  The bottom here is typical sand at around
the 20m mark with a well defined rock edge coming up into shallower
depths with larger rocks.  We went north following the sand line.
Lots of PJs around (the water was still around 14 degrees).  Not a
lot of other fish life but a good training dive in twins.
We did work out that with the new 3 step ladder we could
easily get back into the boat on twins.
