Ripper was our first dive on Cocos. It is named after a
small channel on the south of Direction Island called The Rip. As
our first dive it is relatively shallow - 19.5m being our maximum depth.
The depth varies here from a shallow of around 8m and gradually falls
away into the deep depths in excess of 60m. Fish life is abundant
and we did see our first reef sharks as well.
