The Steps 01-03-08

Seas were really bit at 3 to 4 m outside
so we had to stay in Botany Bay. With the seas coming in from the
SE Kurnell is sheltered. We anchored near the steps and headed down.
This was my first dive with my INON wide angle and macro lens and dive
number 399. Viz was fair and we we headed west along the sand
line. There was lots of macro life - nudies especially. A
dwarf lion fish which Wayne spotted and a few weedie sea dragons were
great. I got a great pic of an octopus' eye using my macro lens
(see below). It was a long dive 74 mins all up and most enjoyable
given the conditions.
