This was our third dive on Anchor reef.  On this dive, using the depth sounder, we were able to locate and note GPS co-ordinates for the end of Bare Island West reef (named Point B in Michael McFadyen's descriptions).  We found that Anchor reef was a further 220m out from here.  We circumnavigated the reef finding a number of weedy sea dragons, the juvenile PJ (see pics), sea pen on the sand, leatherjackets and female or juvenile groper among other things.  We decided that we wanted to explore this reef much more and map it.  This was dive 170 for me, to a depth of 18.3m and total time 55 mins.  The water was quite cold at 15oC.

the juvenile PJ - we've seen it several times now.
