Our second dive for the day here.  Dive 171 and my camera has flat batteries and I don't have any spares on the boat.  We circumnavigated the reef, taking about 30 mins to do so.  At this stage I was close to deco.  We explored out from the reef to the North. There was another reef nearby and there seemed to be more further out.  There does not appear to be any further reef to the South or West of this reef.  It is possible that this reef is the most southerly of a group of reefs named by Michael McFadyen as the Bare Island Isolated reefs.  He has described 3 reefs which are quite a bit north of this location.  I dived to a depth of 18.3m for a total time of 61 minutes.  15 minute of that was on our deco bar at 5m depth.
