Again Feb 16, 2008 the seas are up and there the prospect of good viz
was not high. We know this reef well and in even poor viz it is a
good dive. Today the sea was green a fir way down, only clearing
up close to the bottom. Viz was about 5m - better than we
expected. The anchor continues to deteriorate quickly. We
circumnavigated the reef, uncovering another old anchor and cutting away
the ropes around it. Nearby we found a young PJ. It was
quite calm and I ran my hand along it. The skin is quite rough to the
touch, even through my gloves. We finish our circumnavigation and
head back up through the green tea water.
