Well, after returning from a
wonderful week on Spoilsport Sydney is not being nice. Conditions
outside the heads was treacherous so we looked for somewhere in Botany
Bay. Our fist dive was Anchor Reef and it was rough on the surface
there. And on the bottom, it was very dirty - viz about 1m. This
was like a night dive but with low viz as well. There was not much
to see. Even though we know the reef well, at one stage I was really
unsure of where we were. We had headed west, past the anchor and around
the western end. Returning it was hard to know where the reef
actually was. We did find the anchor again but were loathe to move
out of view of it.
