Another lovely long weekend April 26 2010 and
Jenny and I head for Bushrangers Bay for a dive in the afternoon.
Low tide as around 12.30 so we got in after that, diving on the incoming
tide. The viz was great - a bit of silt in the water but a good 15
metres. We followed the southern wall out and around the corner.
There was plenty of fish life but the best was after we turned to start
our return trip. For no real reason I ascended up to a ledge that
was 6m up from the bottom. Resting on the ledge was a PJ. It
looked sick - it's mouth was misshapen and we could see a pink growth
sticking out of it's mouth (not sure if that would be a tongue).
Both Jenny and I got some good pics. Then back down a small cuttle
and an annoying one eyed puller that kept darting at me. Further
back and in the shallows was a school of squid. Very interesting.
We dived for 60 minutes and loved every minute of it.
