The Gravel Loader is an easy shore dive and an even easier boat dive. We did it as a third dive. At a max depth of11m it is a great last dive for the day. And for those really good on their air, you could use 60 bar from the previous dive as Wayne did, and still get good bottom time. The gravel loader has a sandy bottom and various debris scattered around it. There are huge schools of old wives, yellowtail, mado and lots of box fish. A careful look reveals hermit crabs as well. If you sit quietly on the bottom the fish quickly get used to your presence and engulf you. This is a fantastic site to show novice dives large numbers of fish in a very safe manner. |
