We headed down to Port Kembla on Valentines Day. Water
temperatures was 24C at the surface. As I headed down at 10 m was
a very dark layer of water and the thermocline also. The temp
dropped to 18 quite quickly. At the bottom viz was 8m and a bit
dark due to the dirty layer above.
Lots of the usual fish around. Towards the bow a cuttle hid under the plates. And right up near the bow a good size wobbie rested. A nice dive with flat seas and little wind, ruined a bit by a dirty layer of water.
