Magic Point 18-02-06

|
This was our third dive for the day, having ended our dive at
Red Flag due to boredom. Magic Point is always great these days.
Again 7 Grey Nurses including a juvenile which was quite inquisitive and came very
close to me. We also saw a large bull ray swim past and a wobbie gong
swam across the cave and settled on the South side. Of real interest was a
huge ball of cat fish that came in from the South, across the front of the cave
and then headed off to the North. It was in front of the cave for nearly 10 mins. On the way back to the boat we saw a pair of moorish idol, tropical
fish that are not common in our waters. We only spent 25 mins here on my
205th dive but it was worth it. Depth is 16.5m.
