Viz was very poor and outside the cave it was very surgy.
There was a strong swell from the NE pushing towards the cave. At
the top of the cave the current was quite strong and threatened to carry
the unaware diver towards the shallows and the rocks. We only saw
2 GNS in the gloom. Highlight was a Beechers Devil Fish on the
right side of the cave and a juvenile one on left side. A wobbie
hid in a crack above and to the left of the cave. It was rough but
still worth keeping an eye on the GNS colony. We hope that the
lower numbers that we have been seeing over the last few months is not
due to the higher number of human visitors to Magic Point.
