After the Annie M Miller we dropped in at Magic Point,
as for the last few times we've been here there were no Grey Nurse
Sharks. The viz was fantastic, unusual for Magic Point. In
the cave were 2 Beechers devilfish, an adult at the west end and a
juvenile on the east end. Neither were shy at all, and we could
get quite close. Further away to the East I found a young wobbie
resting on the rocks. Several other divers saw it (they were on
Scubaroo). One was silly enough to touch this wobbie's tail.
Lucky for them it shot away and did not whip back and bite (as they can
do). Deeper on the sand we found a larger wobbie on the
sand and a giant cuttle amongst the kelp.
Another lovely dive but sadly it seems the GNS are not
in residence.
