An early trip to Magic Point to check out the GNS colony.  Jenny came with us diving on my Halycon. She has outgrown her BCD (it is too big) so I thought I'd let her try my Halcyon which is infinitely adjustable.  Wayne and Jen went down first and I followed shortly after.  We had anchored a bit off to the west of the cave.  At the cave we found one lone GNS in rather murky conditions.  We watched it for a while, then something interesting happened. It was cruising along the front of the cave about 5m from Wayne.  Suddenly it turned quickly towards him, travelled a couple of metres then turned again and slowed to it's previous cruise across the front of the cave.  No idea why.  My theory is that it was spooked by something that we could not detect and instinctively headed away from the cave, not realising Wayne was there.  Then again, it could have felt trapped by us and reacted to chase us away. We left it shortly after.  There were no Devilfish this time which was very disappointing.
