July 31 2010 is the weekend of Wayne's 600th dive.  This one though is his 599th.  We were diving Magic Point on 36% Nitrox and keeping our depth shallow as we planned to dive the Annie M Miller later on.  We anchored just on the west side of the cave in 17m.  At the cave we were pleased to see at least 12 PJs resting, several just out of the cave, most deeper at the back of the cave.  There was one juvenile GNS here.  It was quite curious about us and came quite close after a while.  Even though I know they are not aggressive it still gives me that danger feeling when one gets close.  After checking out the main cave we headed east towards the other cave.  The viz had started really good but deteriorated towards the end of the dive.  Heading to the second cave I saw a squid and a pipefish.  At the second cave we found another 3 GNS.  They did not hang around although as we swam back we saw one of then circling round returning to the cave.

The second cave is worth a look.  It's not far from the main cave and there are always a variety of fish there including bullseye, one eye pullers and pike.

We exited at the right time - Pro dive had just turned up with a full boat load of divers.
