Just Wayne and I today. Calm sees and a good run down to
Magic Point. Towards the end of the dive we were joined by Sea John, Pro
Dive and another privateer.
Viz was pretty poor at the bottom - only a few metres buy the
first thing we see is a large bull ray resting right in front of the cave.
I am to the left of him. He stirred and swam towards me, then turned right
in front of me. Nice experience. There are lots of PJs in the cave,
mostly just resting and 6 GNS including a juvenile who was most curious.
Across the right side of the cave was a giant cuttle. I could just see him
in the gloom but when he slipped into the rocks on the right hand side I could
get close and got some good shots. While I was trying to take a close up
of a wrasse a PJ came round and stopped on the sand right in front of me.
WOW.
We headed across to the second cave where we found another 2
GNS. On the way we see a small wobbie resting in a recess in the rocks.
We headed back to the main cave where we came across the divers
from Sea John. We did check out the deeper areas for a minute or two but
the viz was poor and nothing of interest.
