A lousy looking day on March 1sy -welcome to Autumn.  It was raining at the Foreshore rd boat ramp but Wayne and I headed out anyway.  A slow trip down to Magic Point and when we got there the boat wanted to stay side on to the swell so bit sloppy on top.  But looking down the anchor line the water looked great.  And at the bottom it was great.  Viz was easily 15m, maybe as much as 20m.  Water temp was a comfortable 20 degrees.

There was just the 2 of us and lots of GNS. Wayne counted 10 in the main cave, they moved very slowly and came really close to us.  Great photo opportunities.  The female GNS that was caught in elastic cord looked healthy and her wound looked to be healing well.

If you haven't seen her rescue here is a link: http://www.mnn.com/earth-matters/animals/blogs/divers-rescue-rare-shark-from-garbage-video.

I found a cuttle on the right hand side of the cave and a PJ and blue devilfish on the left side of the cave.

Heading over to the second cave we passed several juvenile wobbies.  Lots of schooling yellowtail and bullseye floating around.  At the second cave, 4 more GNS, another blue devilfish and another juvenile wobbie.

It just doesn't get an better than this - a 67 minute dive with the sharks in viz that is just divine.
