| Our second dive on October 10, 2006 we headed back into Botany Bay. Anchoring in the vicinity where Wayne had found a good anchor a few weeks ago on a night dive. Our intention was to retrieve it. At the bottom the viz was poor - about 3m. On a strong outgoing tide this was not surprising. We swam around a bit, got to the end of the west reef and headed back over the top of the reed to it's south side. There are still plenty of PJs around here and we also saw a lone wobbiegong. We don't often see these around Bare Island. The viz was so poor that pics were hard to come by. Needless to say we did not find the anchor. | |
