We haven't dive Bare Island since December last year.  With strong northerly winds our second dive on Saturday 30th October 2010 was the Deep Wall from the boat.  The water was cold at 15^oC but the viz was easily 15m and very clear, despite the outgoing tide.  We dropped down further East than we would normally be when diving the deep wall from shore.  We headed west following the wall and finally turning at the anchor. As I was diving this on air as our second dive turning here allowed me to just go into deco as we started to ascend.  There was not a lot of fish life but the colours were amazing. 

I would say that Bare Island is back to it's best based on this dive.
