A mid week dive at Bare Island before attending our first meeting of the St. George Scuba Club.  Seas were flat, sun was warm and the wind would not bother us.  We headed out following the reef, coming across a large anchor set up in the sand at 7m deep and less than 10m from the reef.  It had to have been placed here for some purpose.  We followed the reef further and met a PJ , then headed across to sea horse rock and carefully inspected all the rocks around.  Further north we came across the chain for one the marker buoys.  Back towards the reef we came across 3 mourning cuttles.  We spent over 10 minutes with them taking lots of pics and video (see below).  They are the most delightful creatures.  We finally left them and headed back toward the reef and back to our exit point.  Viz was 5m at the start, opening out to 8m later on.
