Over the Christmas break we like to get wet and with bare Island being so accessible at 7am we decide to go all the way round.  We entered off the East side swimming out to the anchor and then south and west.  It gets quite shallow at the south side of the island but the rock formations are amazing and there is plenty to see.  We came round and down onto the deep wall before crossing over to the reef and back along the north side of the reef to the exit point at the ramp.  It took us 63 mins to complete the circumnavigation and I used 190 bar of air on a 12L steel tank.

It is well worth doing but you have to be good on your air.
