October 8, 2005 we had planned to take the boat out from Long Bay but the sea was too rough.  We headed to Bare Island where the water was quite flat.  We dived the East side first and had reasonable visibility. Some nice nudies along the way.  We found what looked like newly hatched fish, maybe bullseye.  There is a photo of these.  The current under the bridge was very strong. It is something to be wary of so have an alternate exit.  Between dives we met Michael McFadyen whose web site I refer to regularly.  We then dived the West side, going to the end of the reef.  We re found a lone sea horse which we had seen there in June. Some PJs had found small caves around the back the reef.  We had intended to dive beyond the reef but the visibility was not good enough for that.  These were dives 164 and 165.
