This was our second dive for the day. The tide was going out so a
westerly direction was called for. The viz started reasonable but
deteriorated as we went further west. We went as far as where the
anchor used to. A drift back, nothing exciting to see. With
a strong wind blowing towards the island we had
to leave the anchor secured rather than use the lift bag. We got back
to the surface OK but the drop line had got caught in a rock crevice and
the flasher that was on it had fallen into the crevice. Wayne went
back down to try to get the flasher back but could not reach it. even
with a hook. One more goes to Davey Jones' locker.
